Snowshoeing in Livigno is the winter version of hiking, the natural, logical progression of summer trekking.
Walking with snowshoes, is a simple but extremely enjoyable activity that lets you explore snow-covered mountains and wonder at the majestic beauty of an unspoilt natural environment. No particular expertise or physical prowess is necessary: snowshoeing’s great accessibility is one of the reasons for the growing popularity of this simple “walking” activity. However, particularly on some itineraries, experience is essential as a matter of safety, as you will encounter different types of snow and slopes.
Emotion within the reach of all: easy hikes in the woods and valleys in the Stelvio National Park; in the winter silence, away from the country to observe deer, chamois, ibex and, with a little ‘luck, the golden eagle and the bearded vulture; The Alpine Guides are equipped with telescope and tripod to observe the lives of these wonderful animals during the winter season.
